Treatment

Every treatment is personalized according to your symptoms by Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Natalie Winegar, who will decide on the most suitable treatment option for you. Many procedures can be finished in brief 30-minute sessions, requiring no downtime or recovery. Nonetheless, the recommended number of sessions may differ for each individual.

FAQ About Sexual Health Treatments

The first step during your visit will be to check in with the receptionist, who will require some personal details. Next, you will have a consultation with our Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Natalie Winegar. During this consultation, you will be asked about your health history, discuss any symptoms and concerns, and work together to create a customized treatment plan.

When you attend the clinic you will be asked to provide a sexual history to our Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Natalie Winegar. =

Your sexual history includes:

  • the last time you had sex and whether this was with a regular or casual partner;
  • the type of sex involved (vaginal, anal or oral);
  • if a condom was used.

You will also be asked about:

  • any symptoms you may have;
  • health history;
  • any medication you are taking;
  • periods, cervical screening tests (often called a smear test) and pregnancies.

You may feel that some of the questions are very personal but they are asked so that the correct advice, tests, treatment and support are offered.

Feel free to bring a friend or partner with you to your consultation or appointment. If you prefer to have them stay with you during your consultation, simply let the staff know. You can also request a chaperone, which means having another staff member present during your medical examination.

Before scheduling an appointment or consultation, we require a valid credit card on file. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a $25 fee will be charged.

To avoid this fee, please provide a cancellation notice at least 24 hours before your appointment.

 

Yes! Our non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation and sexual health procedures are mostly non-invasive, performed in-office with no anesthesia required. Most patients report minimal discomfort or pain, and treatment areas are numbed with a topical cream. However, pain levels may vary, depending on the client.

Pro-Nox™ is available upon request for an additional $25 per session. It is a nitrous oxide delivery system that combines 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, to provide pain relief and anxiety relief.
